Bruce Devlin, Chairman of The Devlin Tournament Committee and President of The Devlin Foundation, was recently honored by The First Tee of Fort Worth for his contributions to the program and the game in the Fort Worth, Texas community.

As part of The First Tee of Fort Worth’s 2013 Leadership Awards ceremony, Devlin was among 10 individuals honored for their work and contributions to the chapter.

The theme of the First Tee of Fort Worth’s awards ceremony was ‘Going Back to the Beginning’ and it went to honor those with long-lasting connections with the program as founding board members, volunteers and supporters.

In addition to Bruce Devlin, Zach Garsek, a past participant of The Devlin, was also recognized.

 

 

 

The Devlin named a top Four-Ball event by AmateurGolf.com

The Devlin was recently named one of the top four-ball events in the country according to amateurgolf.com.

The Devlin, which is scheduled for Sept. 11-14, 2014 at Secession Golf Club in Beaufort, S.C., was among a select group of team events to be featured in amateurgolf.com’s ‘Fabulous Four-Balls’ article and is also considered a Major of Amateur Golf by the same publication.
